Mad Men Style

Oh le sigh. Who doesn't want to adopt the chic Mad Men style? I love a good theme costume party {I even threw a Mad Men Christmas} but there's a difference between chic & costumey. The trick to pulling it off is, once again, the "2-part Fashion Cocktail". In the case of this ensemble for the Market Publique Lookbook, that was a balance between retro & modern. The hair is deliciously vintage, but it doesn't feel too kitschy paired with classic, simple clothes & fresh, chunky jewelry. Go forth & strutt.

P.S. And remember, all the pieces you see are onsale over on Market Publique! Go, go now!

Love this look; its very nicely balanced between retro and modern. For some reason the earrings make this for me; so neat!

Thanks Stephanie! I think maybe it's because the chunky bold earrings keep it from looking too sweet. :)

You're so sweet Erin! And yes, I'm in a Mad Men marathon right now {I missed it the first time around} & sometimes it is physically painful in my chest how much I want to be wearing Betty's clothes!
